This natural scrub/mask has the dual
purpose of exfoliating and feeding the skin. It is daubed on and then
left on as a mask for 5 minutes before being gently rubbed off to exfoliate.
The fine Sugar, ground Lime and Orange rind, Ginger and Lemon Grass
helps to gently exfoliate. Almond Oil is a wonderfully natural
moisturizer for dehydrated skin. Calendula Oil has a soothing, healing
effect. The Avocado Oil is rich in Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E,
protein and amino acids - in fact, like Hemp Seed Oil it is one of the few
vegetable oils containing protein. It penetrates the skin deeply without
leaving an oily film on the skin. Promotes the regeneration of skin. The
Wheat Germ Oil is very high in vitamins, particularly Vitamin E,
carotene and lecithin. Its high Vitamin E content acts as an
anti-oxidant and preservative. Hazelnut Oil easily penetrates the skin.
It is high in Essential Fatty Acids and is soothing and healing to dry
irritated skin. Hemp Seed Oil contains proteins and high percentage
Essential Fatty Acids. It is high in Omega 3, Omega 6 and a
Gamma-Linolenic Acid. It is a wonderful oil for dry and/or mature skin since
it is said to help stimulate cell growth. Rosehip Seed Oil is high in
polyunsaturated fats and Vitamin C. Soothing, softening and regenerating
to the skin. Castor Oil creates a soothing, protective barrier on the
skin.
Lime Oil is an Astringent,
antiseptic and non-irritating. Lemon Peel Extract is a source of
calcium, ascorbic acid and vitamin E. Helps to exfoliate and protect the
skin to keep it healthy. Also has a refreshing citrus odour. Ginger
Root Oil acts as a rubefacient, reddening the skin by stimulating blood
flow to accelerate healing, while its relaxant properties can help
minimize the appearance of lines and wrinkles. Grapefruit Seed Extract
is a natural bactericide, preservative and stabilizer that is both a
tonic and astringent.
As with all
Hemptons products, this Scrub has not been tested on animals and does not
contain harmful soaping agents, humectants or preservatives.
Due to the slippery nature of the oils in
this product, care should be taken when entering and exiting the tub or
shower.
