Because an oily scalp is highly reactive,
Hemptons' Shampoo for Oily Hair is formulated with mild plant-derived
soaping agents to help remove excess oil but prevents the “rebound”
effect e.g. the scalp produces double the amount of sebum to replace the
sebum and oils stripped by too harsh chemicals - leaving the hair even more
oily and limp. The recognized synergy of 5 botanical
ingredients (Hops, Horsetail, Goldenseal, Lemon Grass, Witchazel) with astringent properties in this Shampoo, blended with
Lemon Essential Oil gently cleanses the scalp and hair, while removing
dirt and excess sebum.
The natural, super-mild
Ecocert certified surfactants
in our Shampoo may not foam as much as the more commonly used SLES/ALES based products,
yet
they are as effective as these high sudsing surfactants in cleansing all
grime, styling products and residue from the scalp and hair, without causing long term damage to skin and hair.
This natural Shampoo is
also enriched with Hemp Seed Oil - rich in Essential Fatty Acids (EFA's) - Hemp's superior lubricating qualities
leave the hair feeling clean and fresh. It adds a healthy shine, fullness and
elasticity to hair. Hemp Seed Oil provides the proper balance of essential
nutrients needed for strong, healthy hair and is known to stimulate hair
growth.
