stock or sell any other products - only Hemp products.

Body
Care Products
Body care products containing Hemp Seed Oil are soothing and
restores moisture to dry skin and increases the
natural moisture retention capacity of skin. With regular use, body care products containing
Hemp Seed Oil
help slow down the effects of skin aging and leave the skin smooth, soft
and moisturized.
In hair care products, Hemp Seed Oil imparts gloss and
manageability to hair, bringing relief from dry scalp or hair help with
damage from
blow-dryer heat, chemical perms, coloring or sunlight.
None of our products are tested on animals. These products also don't contain
Propylene Glycol, Sodium
& Ammonium Lauryl & Laurenth
Sulphates, Parabens or Petrolatum. |

Food
"Hemp Seed contains all the
Essential Amino
Acids and Essential Fatty Acids necessary to maintain
healthy human life. No other single plant source provides complete protein
in such easily digestible form nor has the oils essential to life in as
perfect a ratio for human health and vitality."
Hemp
Seed has the highest Essential Fatty Acid ( EFA's ) content of any single
plant, whilst at the same time the oil volume of the seed has amongst the
lowest comparable Saturated Fats content. In fact, no other single plant
source can provide complete protein in such an easily digestible form, or
contains the oils essential to human life in such a perfect ratio (
essential for building a strong immune system and to maintain health and
vitality ).

Hemp
Seed can be lightly toasted under a grill, or oven baked, to give a
delicious snack very similar in taste to popcorn ( in Chinese cinemas,
toasted Hemp Seed is eaten in this way ). A nutritious milk can be extracted
and in the future a textured vegetable protein could be developed. Unlike
soybean, Hemp
seed have not been genetically modified and are produced without the need
for pesticides or herbicides.
The
seed is a tasty ingredient for baked foods such as biscuits and flapjacks,
breads and cakes and is also delicious fresh, either by itself, or as an
addition to soups, curries, pasta, spreads, hummus and salads (delicious
toasted !). |

Oil
A large portion of
Hemptons' business is in
Hemp Seed Oil
which is derived from cold-pressing, organically grown Hemp seed. We
carry various grades of oil . Freshly cold-pressed organically grown oil,
freshly cold-pressed Food grade oil and non-organically grown Standard grade
Oil. These oils have various applications and are sold into various markets. We
also stock degummed and refined oils and Hemp Butter.
Nutritional Oil
Hemptons provides organically
grown, cold-pressed Hemp Seed Oil which is distributed into the Nutraceutical
industry i.e. Homoeopaths, Health Shops and Pharmacies, Veterinary Clinics and
Chiropractors.
The Seeds from which the oil
is pressed is organically grown from non-GMO (Genetically Modified) seeds and are not irradiated before
pressing. The seeds are
cold-pressed in a temperature controlled environment and is immediately nitrogen
capped. A sample per batch is sent to
SGS – the world’s leading
inspection, verification, testing and certification company - to verify the
freshness and viability of the oil properties as well as verify the levels of
THC.
When decanting Hemptons takes every precaution to
ensure that the oil's unique nutritional properties are preserved by again packaging
the Hemp Seed Oil in a temperature controlled environment, devoid of direct sun
light. The oil is packaged into High-Density
Polyethylene (HDPE) plastic
bottles. (HDPE
has been found not to migrate into the oils and is dense enough not to allow
light through which causes
photo-oxidation.
Research has led us to believe that coloured glass is not an
acceptable material in which to store unrefined oils, because it still allows
too much ultra-violet light to reach the product).

Food Grade Oil
Hemp Seed Oil has a pleasant nutty flavour and is used much like Olive-, Walnut
or Sesame Oils in the
preparation of dishes.
It is only ever used cold to drizzle and/or dip.

Cosmetic
Grade Oil
Hemp Oil
is an exceptionally rich oil, high in Essential Fatty Acids,
Proteins and Amino Acids. Because of these properties, it is used as a base
ingredient in a number of skin care products.
Hemptons supplies a number of Cosmetic and Soap manufacturers
with oil and manufactures its own Body Creams, Shampoos and Conditioners.
Industrial Grade Oil
Industrial Grade Hemp Seed Oil (older
oil or non-organically grown oil that is not suitable for nutritional, food
and/or cosmetic use) still has very unique properties and was traditionally used in the manufacture of Paints and
Varnishes. Linseed has largely taken its place, but Internationally there is a
revival in the use of Hemp Seed Oil in these products. As Hemp Oil has a natural drying agent its
use in paints, varnishes and sealants helps render wood highly resistant to
water.
A number of smaller,
privately owned local manufacturers who have their own laboratories and
testing facilities have been incorporating Hemp Seed Oil in their latest
product ranges.
New tests undertaken
in European also indicates that Hemp Seed Oil based natural surfactant
cleaners work as well or better than those based on other oils. Hemp based
products can clean everything from windows and furniture to jet airplane
engines. Hemp Seed Oil is also a candidate for many of the industrial
applications covered by linseed (flax) oil.
